How has the market changed in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak?

How has the pandemic been affecting the Twin Cities housing market? Despite all the uncertainty, there have been a lot of good things happening here lately.

Buyers still need to buy and sellers still need to sell, even as most of us are sheltering in place. In just this last week alone, we had over 700 new listings hit the market in the core counties of the metro area. Additionally, over 550 offers were negotiated and accepted. That means it’s business as usual for some buyers and sellers.

What about the existing homes that were on the market before the virus broke out? Fortunately, we haven’t seen sellers pull their homes off the market, as buyers are still competing to find the right home for them.

If you have any questions or are curious about your home’s value, please reach out. Everyone’s situation is unique, and we’d be honored to talk through the specifics with you.
